- Frozen Cherries
- Frozen Banana
- Cacao Powder
- Chia Seeds
- Hemp Hearts
- Collagen Peptides
- Unsweetened Almond Milk or Oat Milk
Equipment:
- Blender
How to make Chocolate Cherry Superfood Smoothie:
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender. Blend for 60 seconds or until smooth and rich consistency is reached. Use a spoon to check smoothie and make sure there are’t any chunks of fruit left. If there is, place cover back on blender and continue to blend for another few seconds until smoothie is completely smooth.
- Pour smoothie into glass or mason jar and enjoy. Keep refrigerated for up to 8 hours if not consuming right away.
Not a fan of bananas in your smoothies?
If you don’t like bananas in your smoothies, you can use frozen cauliflower rice as a substitute. Frozen cauliflower rice makes smoothies creamy like frozen bananas do. Don’t worry, your smoothie won’t taste like cauliflower. Trust me! Plus it will get the added nutrition cauliflower has to offer.
