Banana Chocolate Chip Waffles

So a while back I was doing some online shopping and came across some waffle makers. It occurred to me to that we didn’t have one and it would be nice to get one and try some healthy recipes I could share on my new blog. I bought the waffle maker and of course the first one to use it was my husband to make some old fashioned waffles. Then it was my turn to try it out.

I just went in the kitchen and let my creativity run wild and just looked around to see what I could use to make some good waffles. I had some ripe bananas and thought I could use those. Then I found my dairy-free mini chocolate chips in my pantry and thought that would make some delicious waffles. I got all my ingredients together and mixed everything. Made the waffles and they were a success! They were moist, sweet but not too sweet, and all the ingredients held together. They were delicious and most importantly, my family approved.

I was so happy I had a successful recipe on the first try and from just trying some stuff together off the top of my head. I went on with my day and later on came to realize I never wrote down the recipe. To make it worse, I couldn’t remember it to save my life. I was really disappointed and tried it again and again and just couldn’t get it to work. It took me a good 4-6 times to try it before I finally got it again. I was so excited but put my celebration on pause and went and wrote down the recipe immediately. Lesson definitely had been learned!
