Frozen Yogurt Berry Cups

Healthy snacking these days can be pretty easy. There are endless ways to turn healthy foods into delicious snacks. Chickpeas into crunchy chickpeas with different flavors, kale into chips, oats into energy balls, and even beans into brownie bites or cookie dough bites.

Yogurt is a very versatile food you can use in many recipes to make a quick and healthy snack. I always use Plain Greek Yogurt at home since it has more protein than regular yogurt and it is easier to digest. I often like to use yogurt to make chia pudding, parfaits, or frozen cups. These Frozen Yogurt Berry Cups are one of my go-to snacks to make using yogurt. They are super healthy and very easy to make.

Aside from Greek yogurt which is loaded with protein and probiotics, they are made with berries which are rich in vitamins and minerals. They also contain almonds which are a great source of protein and healthy fats. These frozen cups are perfect for toddlers and kids to snack on. They’re also great for babies who are teething to help soothe them while enjoying a tasty treat.

I love to make these for the Fourth of July as they are just so patriotic looking. You can use silicone liners to make them and they easily pop out once frozen. To make them even more festive for the upcoming holiday use star shaped silicone muffin liners. They look so cute and perfect for the Fourth.

Health Benefits of Greek Yogurt:

What is the difference between Greek Yogurt and Regular Yogurt?

While Greek yogurt is being made, whey is strained out of it. This gives Greek yogurt it’s creamy and thicker texture. It’s also what gives it a stronger taste from regular yogurt. This also makes Greek Yogurt more concentrated making it richer in protein than regular yogurt. Plain Greek yogurt also has less sugar than regular yogurt has.
