  • Spices– Pink sea salt and black pepper.
  • Garlic Cloves– Fresh garlic is best for flavor but you can also use garlic powder.
  • Avocado Oil– For cooking.
  • Tapioca Flour– Gives the wings a nice coating and helps make them crispy.
  • Fresh Lemon Juice– Add depth to the flavors.

Equipment needed to make Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wings:

  • Air Fryer– Traditional oven can be used if you don’t have one.
  • Large Mixing Bowl– To mix and prep the wings.

Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wings FAQ’s:

Can these wings be baked in a traditional oven?

If you don’t have an air fryer, that’s not a problem. These wings can certainly be baked in a traditional oven as well. Preheat oven at 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper. Lay prepped wings on prepped sheet pan and bake for 25 minutes. Flipping half way through baking.

Why are my wings not crispy in the air fryer?

For your wings to get crispy in the air fryer, the air needs to circulate around them. You want to make sure that the wings are not crowded and that there is enough space between them. This will allow the air to circulate around them making the wings crispy. Air fry your wings in batches if you need to.

Should I flour my wings before air frying?

Yes. Coating your wings with flour will allow them to get even more crispy as they air fry.

Storing and Reheating Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wings:

Place any leftover Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wings in an airtight container. Keep refrigerated for up to 3-4 days. Reheat by placing back in the air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 4-6 minutes. You can also reheat in the microwave but the wings won’t be as crispy.
