Ingredients needed to make Honey-Lime Sriracha Chicken Wings:

  • Chicken Wings– I like to use both drums and flats.
  • Limes– Use fresh lime juice. Makes all the difference!
  • Honey– Can substitute for maple syrup but honey is more of the flavor we are going for with these.
  • Sriracha– Adds a nice kick to these chicken wings.
  • Spices– Garlic powder and pink sea salt.
  • Avocado Oil– Can substitute for olive oil or any oil with a high smoking point.

Equipment needed to make Honey-Lime Sriracha Chicken Wings:

  • Small Mixing Bowl– To mix sauce in.
  • Whisk– For whisking sauce.
  • Large Baking Sheet Pan– A 9×13 inch pan at least. 13×18 inch would be best.
  • Parchment Paper– For lining sheet pan to avoid chicken wings from sticking to sheet pan.
  • Cooling Rack– Allows wings to bake evenly.
  • Pastry Brush– To spread sauce over chicken wings.

How to make Honey-Lime Sriracha Chicken Wings:

  • Step 1– Preheat oven at 400 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet pan with parchment paper and a cooling rack.
  • Step 2– Pat dry chicken wings and place them in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with avocado oil making sure wings are well coated. Sprinkle with pink sea salt and black pepper to taste and tapioca flour. Give wings a good toss again making sure they are well coated.
  • Step 3– Line prepped chicken wings over cooling rack placed over baking sheet pan. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove chicken wings from the oven. Use tongs to flip wings over to the opposite side. Place wings back in the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.
  • Step 4– While chicken wings are baking, prep your sauce. In a small mixing bowl combine lime juice, honey, sriracha, avocado oil, garlic powder, and pink sea salt. Whisk together until well combined.
  • Step 5– Once wings are done baking on the opposite side, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour honey-lime sriracha sauce over wings and give them a good toss.
  • Step 6– Remove cooling rack from the baking sheet pan. Use tongs to line chicken wings over parchment paper on baking sheet pan. Use a pastry brush to brush the rest of sauce over each wing. Place back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes. For an extra crisp, broil wings on high for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 7– Serve honey-lime chicken wings with blue cheese, ranch or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
