Maple-Cinnamon Candied Pecans FAQ’s:

Why are my candied pecans soft and not crunchy?

As the pecans cool down they will harden and get crunchy. If they still seem more on the soft side, you may not have spread them enough on the sheet pan. You want them to be spread out and not touching.

Why did my candied pecans get burnt?

You want to make sure to stir your mixture on low heat just enough for coconut to melt and everything to be mixed together. If the mixture is too hot, it can burn the pecans. Also, don’t leave them to broil for too long. This can also cause them to get burnt.

Can I use other nuts?

Yes. You can use other nuts if you don’t like or don’t have pecans. Walnuts, almonds, or cashews are all great too.

Storing Maple-Cinnamon Candied Pecans:

The best way to store your Maple-Cinnamon Candied Pecans is in a mason jar. Close the lid tightly and refrigerate. Keep them refrigerated for up to 7-10 days.
