Recipe Notes

Tips and Substitutions:

  1. Use ripe fruit- Ripe fruit is naturally sweet which will make your slushie sweeter without having to add more honey or sweetener.
  2. No frozen fruit- Add more ice. You want your sushie to be very icy and cold.
  3. Substitute for honey- You can use maple syrup. This will make your watermelon-basil strawberry slushie vegan friendly too!
  4. Substitute for basil- If you're not a fan of basil you can omit it all together to use mint instead for added freshness to your slushie.
