Recipe Notes

Tips and Substitutions:

  1. Use a large wide mouth mason jar to make your chia water- You can combine all of the ingredients in this jar, it has plenty of room and the tight lid will keep your chia water fresh. If you don't have this kind of jar, use any container that has an airtight lid.
  2. Substitute for maple syrup- You can use honey.
  3. Allow chia seeds to refrigerate in coconut water overnight- This will give the chia seeds plenty of time to expand. However, if you don't want to wait that long, give it at least 2 hours in the fridge.
