Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp shredded zucchini
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp semi-sweet dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar or air tight container combine all ingredients together. Tightly seal the lid and give oats a good shake. Making sure all of the ingredients are well combined together.

  2. Place oats in the fridge and refrigerate overnight. 

  3. The next morning, remove oats from the fridge and remove lid. Use a spoon to give oats a good stir. Top with your preferred toppings such as banana and raw walnuts. 

Recipe Notes

Tips and Substitutions:

    1. Use fresh shredded zucchini- For best flavor.
    2. Add more toppings– Once you are ready to serve your overnight oats add more toppings like more walnuts, more chocolate chips, or banana slices.
    3. Substitute for cacao powder- You can use unsweetened cocoa powder.
    4. Substitute for maple syrup- You can use honey.
    5. Add a mashed ripe banana- For more sweetness and texture.
    6. Use any milk you wish- You can use any plant-based or dairy milk you desire.
