Buffalo Chicken Dip

This Easy and Healthy Greek Yogurt Buffalo Chicken Dip is a lightened up version to the classic. Made with flavorful chicken, hot sauce, cheddar cheese, and plain Greek yogurt. Easy and quick to make, bursting with flavor, and perfect crowd pleaser for game day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tsp pink sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.

  2. Shred a rotisserie chicken or some leftover chicken you may have and measure out 2 cups. Place chicken in a large mixing bowl. Thinly slice green onions.

  3. Add in yogurt, hot sauce, garlic powder, pink sea salt, black pepper, dried parsley, shredded cheddar cheese, and green onions. Reserve some of the green to garnish if desired. Give everything a good toss making sure it's all well combined.

  4. Transfer mixture into a baking dish. Place dish in preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.

  5. Remove buffalo chicken dip from the oven and garnish with reserved green onions. Serve imminently while still warm with preferred chips, and/or carrot and celery slices.

Recipe Notes

Tips and Substitutions:

  1. Make dip in a baking dish- You can serve the dip in the same dish.
  2. Substitute for Green yogurt- Use avocado oil based mayonnaise
  3. Use rotisserie chicken to make dip- Makes it a lot easier and less prepping and cooking.
