Classic Homemade Pesto is a super versatile sauce that can be served in endless ways. Made with fresh basil, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper, garlic, parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Such a bright green, creamy, fresh, and delicious sauce. Serve it with your favorite dishes such as pasta, chicken, fish, pizza, sandwiches, etc.
Place all ingredients in a food processor; basil, pine nuts, parmesan, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, pink sea salt, and black pepper. Pulse on high for 30-40 seconds until smooth consistency is reached.
Taste and add more salt if desired. Serve pesto in a mason jar or any airtight container. Keep refrigerated for up to 7-10 days.
