Sweet Potato, Kale, and Chickpeas Puree (7 m+)

This Sweet Potato, Kale and Chickpeas Puree makes for excellent baby food to introduce some texture to your baby. It's loaded with many vitamins and minerals. Rich in protein, iron, fiber and antioxidants. All essential for the growth and development of your baby.

Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 2 cups kale
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop up sweet potatoes. 

  2. Steam chopped sweet potatoes for 15 minutes.

  3. Add kale and steam with sweet potatoes for another 10 minutes.

  4. Puree cooked sweet potatoes and kale. Add chickpeas and water and continue pureeing until desired consistency is reached.

  5. Let cool enough and serve.

  6. Freeze remaining portions for up to three months.
