Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wings that are perfectly crispy on the outside, while tender and juicy on the inside. Seasoned with just the right amount of lemon pepper seasoning, lemon zest, garlic, pink sea salt and black pepper. Topped with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for that last zesty kick.
Place chicken wings in a large mixing bowl and dab dry. Mince garlic cloves and zest lemon enough to make 1 tbsp.
Add avocado oil to chicken wings and give them a toss. Then add lemon pepper seasoning, minced garlic, lemon zest, pink sea salt, black pepper and give the wings a good toss again making sure wings are well coated with the seasonings.
Sprinkle tapioca flour over seasoned wings and toss them once again until well coated with the flour.
Use tongs to genlty place each wing in air fryer basket. Don't over fill basket with wings. Depending on how big your air fryer basket you will probably have to cook in batches. You want to leave enough space between each wings. Like 1/2-1 inch of space.
Place air fryer in air fry mode and turn temperature to 400 degrees F. Air fry for 12 minutes. Open air fryer basket and flip wings over. Air fry wings for another 8 minutes.
Remove chicken wings from the air fryer and place on serving platter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over wings and serve. Enjoy!
