Recipe Notes

Tips and Substitutions:

  • Use other type of mushrooms- Portobello mushrooms are a great substitute since they are full grown versions of cremini (baby Bella) mushrooms. White mushrooms also make for a great substitute.
  • Only have salted butter?- You can use salted butter if that's all you have. Just omit the salt until the end. Taste mushrooms and add salt to taste.
  • Sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese over and it brings this side dish to another level!
  • Serve as a side to steak or roasted chicken. Also great to serve over some pasta and top with grated parmesan cheese.
