Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts

Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts will quickly become your favorite side dish. Crispy, tangy and sweet brussels sprouts are so tasty and super easy to make. Made with balsamic, maple syrup, crunchy walnuts and sweet dried cranberries. They're so good, quick and easy to make, and healthy!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp pink sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Start by prepping your brussels sprouts; trim and discard stems then cut brussels sprouts in half. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Drizzle brussels sprouts with avocado oil, balsamic, and maple syrup. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Give brussels sprouts a good toss making sure they are well coated.

  3. Add prepped brussels sprouts to air fryer basket. Set air fryer on 400 degrees F and set timer for 10 minutes.

  4. Open basket and give it a toss. Add in walnuts and cranberries and give them another toss. Set timer for another 2 minutes.

  5. Serve brussels sprouts immediately while still warm and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Tips and Substitutions:

  1. Avoid overcrowding Brussels in basket- This will prevent them from getting crispy. Cook in batches if you have to.
  2. Don't skip shaking the basket and giving Brussels sprouts a toss- This will allow them to cook and get crispy evenly.
  3. No maple syrup?- Substitute for honey.
  4. Substitute avocado oil for any other oil- Like coconut or olive oil.
  5. Switch up your walnuts for other nuts- Raw pecans or pine nuts are great in this recipe too!
  6. No dried cranberries?- Dried cherries make a great substitute.
  7. No air fryer?- Use oven instead. Preheat oven at 350 degrees F. Place Brussels sprouts in a large baking sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Avoid overcrowding here too. Roast Brussels sprouts for 25 minutes.
