How to make Homemade Turkey Breakfast Sausages:

  • Step 1– Add ground turkey to a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle in thyme, sage, garlic powder, pink sea salt, and black pepper. Drizzle maple syrup and apple cider vinegar. Mix ground turkey making sure all ingredients and well incorporated.
  • Step 2– Line a large baking sheet pan with parchment paper and set next to turkey mixture. Use your hands to scoop out some of the turkey mixture. Roll into a ball then flatten it out creating a patty that’s about 3 inches long and about 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Continue process with the rest of ground turkey until you have 12 sausage patties. Place each sausage on prepped sheet pan.
  • Step 3– Drizzle a large cast iron skillet with olive oil and bring to a heat on high over stovetop. Place sausages on heated skillet and pan fry for 7 minutes. Flip over and pan fry for another 7 minutes. You will have to cook sausages in batches of about 3-4 patties at a time. Continue process until all sausages are cooked through.
  • Step 4– Serve sausages while still warm on the side of eggs, in a breakfast sandwich, etc. Keep any leftover sausages in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3-4 months. Enjoy!
