What are Cremini Mushrooms:

Cremini Mushrooms are also knows as “baby bella” mushrooms or “baby portobello” mushrooms. This is because that’s exactly what they are. Baby version of Portobello Mushrooms. Cremini mushrooms are dark brown, small mushrooms with a smooth rounded cap. They are similar looking to white button mushrooms but firmer than these. When purchasing cremini mushrooms, look underneath their cap. If the gills are covered, this means they are fresh mushrooms.
