Some of these ingredients include rolled oats, coconut milk, chia seeds, and ground spices like turmeric, cinnamon and ginger.

How many of you guys love overnight oats? Well hopefully you’re a big fan because today’s recipe is another one for overnight oats. These  Golden Milk Latte Overnight Oats are my favorite overnight oats recipe at the moment. We have been having them on a regular basis in my home for the past couple of months or so.

Golden milk lattes are nourishing and can help improve your health. All of its ingredients benefit the well being of our bodies. Turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and honey are all incredibly beneficial to our health and contain many powerful healing properties. Black pepper increases the absorption of turmeric into our bodies.

In this recipe, we give this classic warm, healthy beverage a twist. We take the same ingredients turning them into Golden Milk Latte Overnight Oats. These oats make for a healthy and nutritious breakfast or snack. Top with some fresh berries for a complete and delicious way to start your day.

What are Golden Milk Lattes?

A Golden Milk Latte or Turmeric Latte is a concoction consisting of a number of nutritious and nourishing ingredients. It calls for turmeric, plant based milk (my preference is coconut for these), honey, black pepper, coconut oil, and cinnamon. These lattes are sure to give you a boost of energy along with other health benefits your body needs.

I have been obsessed with Golden Milk Lattes or Turmeric Lattes for a few months now. After cutting back on my daily caffeine intake, these have been a substitute for my afternoon coffee. It’s been a variation between different teas and Matcha lattes. But my favorite has to be Turmeric Lattes. They’re the perfect afternoon pick me up without the caffeine.

Golden Milk Latte as Overnight Oats:

Using these same vital ingredients as in regular Golden Milk Lattes, you can make this delicious overnight oats recipe. These Golden Milk Latte Overnight Oats have the same benefits as having it in latte form just turned into a nourishing breakfast. Adding melted coconut oil the next day is optional but it helps give it a rich and creamy texture.

What you need to make these Golden Milk Latte Overnight Oats:

  • Gluten-Free Rolled Oats
  • Ground Turmeric
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Raw Honey
  • Ground Ginger
  • Black Pepper
  • Chia Seeds
  • Coconut Milk
  • Coconut Oil (Optional)

How to make Golden Latte Overnight Oats:

  1. Combine all ingredients but coconut oil in a small wide mouth mason jar. Tightly close lid and give oats a good shake making sure all ingredients are combined well. 
  2. Place oats on fridge and refrigirate overnight. 
  3. The next morning, stir in coconut oil if using and cobine well into the oats. 
  4. Top with preferred toppings like fresh berries. Enjoy!

  • Fresh Berries (Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, etc)
  • Honey
  • Hemp Hearts
  • Raw Nuts (Walnuts, Pecans, Almonds, etc.)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric

  • 2 tsp raw honey
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tsp melted coconut oil (optional)

  2. I’m a strange one , but i never heard of “overnight oats”. I do know, however, that tumeric is very good for you. What a great way to incorporate it into a meal!

    1. There are many people who are not aware of what overnight oats are but they’re not only delicious and healthy, they’re super easy to make. Turmeric has so many wonderful health benefits!

  6. I’ve always heard such amazing things about turmeric from my sister but never tried for myself. I’m not good with herbs and things. This sounds like something cool to try out.

    1. Turmeric has many great benefits and it’s a pretty tasty spice. I use it on almost everything like this, in my smoothies, rice, chicken, soups, etc.
