At what age can my baby have this Puree?
The texture in this puree is very dense, thick and rich. It’s recommended for babies 8 months and older once baby is ready for this kind of texture.
What you need to make this Pumpkin, Apple, Carrot, Dates Puree:
- Pumpkin
- Apple
- Carrot
- Dates
- Unsweetened Apple Juice

This puree contains a great amount of vitamins and minerals. It’s rich in vitamin C, potassium, antioxidants and more. This baby food combo is great for the health of your baby’s skin and eyes as they grow. It’s very dense and thick leaving your baby satisfied.
How to freeze this baby Puree:
- Serve in portions your baby is currently eating.
- Use small airtight containers that are freezer friendly to store your baby food in.
- Freeze for up to 6 months.
- Thaw out in the fridge over night or for 12-24 hours.
- Transfer puree to a small pot and warm up on low heat.
- Feed puree to your baby.

Pumpkin, Apple, Carrot, and Dates Puree (8 m+)
Ingredients
- 1 cup roasted pumpkin
- 1 apple
- 1 carrot
- 3-4 dates
- 1 tbsp water or unsweetened apple juice (I usually juice apples in my juicer)
Instructions
Peel and rough chop carrot. Steam for 15 minutes.
While carrot is steaming, peel, core and chop apple. Add to carrot and steam for another 10 minutes.
Remove pits from dates if they have them.
Add steamed carrot and apple to blender along with dates and roasted pumpkin.
Puree together and add water or apple juice.
Keep blending until completely smooth.
Serve immediately and freeze leftovers for up to three months.
Recipe Notes
*To make roasted pumpkin use a sugar pumpkin and cut in half. Remove seeds and roast in preheated oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool and remove skin.
