This Fresh Peach Salsa is a great way to use up peaches which are in great abundance during the summer time. In addition to peaches, this salsa is made with juicy Roma tomato, crisp red bell pepper, spicy jalapeño peppers, crunchy onion, fresh cilantro and lime juice. This salsa is so refreshing and the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Great to top over grilled chicken, fish, or served with some chips and a dip.

One of the best parts about summer has to be how in abundance peaches are. There’s nothing quite like a ripe and juicy peach. They’re so sweet, refreshing, and a must have during the summer time.
When it comes to making delicious recipes with peaches the possibilities are endless. This Fresh Peach Salsa sure is one recipe you won’t get enough of! This salsa is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. It’s so refreshing and perfect to top any deliciously grilled food.
Serve over grilled chicken, fish, meat, etc. it’s also great to serve over some grilled veggies. You can always serve it as a dip with some chips. It’s great to bring to any summer cookout.
This Fresh Peach Salsa is the perfect salsa to indulge in during the summer time. It’s super easy to make too. Just a little bit of dicing and tossing and you have yourself and delicious salsa! Make sure to allow it to chill for an hour or so. It allows the flavors to marinade and makes it even more tasty!


Ingredients needed to make Fresh Peach Salsa:
- Peaches– White or yellow are great.
- Red Bell Pepper– Adds a nice crunch and flavor to the salsa.
- Roma Tomato– These are the best tomatoes for salsa as they are firm and fresh.
- White Onion– You can also use red onion if you prefer.
- Jalapeño Pepper– Seeded for less heat.
- Lime– Use fresh lime.
- Spices– Pink sea salt and black pepper.
- Fresh Cilantro– Adds a nice freshness and flavor to the salsa.
Equipment needed to make Fresh Peach Salsa:
- Medium Mix Bowl– To mix all of the ingredients in.
- Chef’s Knife– For chopping all of the ingredients.
- 16 oz wide mouth mason jar- To store the peach salsa in.
How to make Fresh Peach Salsa:




- Step 1– Dice peaches into small pieces (see note). Dice bell pepper, tomato, onion, and jalapeño into small pieces too. Thinly slice fresh cilantro and measure out 1/4 cup.
- Step 2– Toss diced peaches and veggies in a medium mixing bowl along with cilantro. Drizzle fresh lime juice over salsa. Sprinkle pink salt and black pepper. Toss salsa until all ingredients are well combined.




- Step 3– Transfer salsa to a wide mouth mason jar or airtight container. Thightly seal jar and place salsa in the fridge. Allow salsa to chill for at least 1-2 hours. Salsa will taste much better when chilled.
- Step 4– Serve peach salsa with chips, on grilled chicken, fish, or any other preferred way. Keep refrigerated for up to 4 days.


Tips and Substitutions:
- Best way to dice a peach is to cut around the pit- Place the peach on a cutting board and cut down one side. Repeat for all four sides. You will end up with 4 sliced sides. Dice from there.
- Keep Fresh Peach Salsa in a wide mouth mason jar- Keep the salsa tightly sealed in the fridge. This will keep the salsa fresh longer.
- Substitute for Roma tomato- San Marzano or Plum Tomatoes are great substitutes.
- Substitute for jalapeño Pepper- Use serrano pepper.
- Not a fan of cilantro?- Substitute for flat-leaf parsley.

Do you peel peaches for peach salsa?
No. You do not need to peel peaches for salsa. Peach skin is perfectly edible and you will not notice it in the salsa.
What’s the best way to slice peaches?
Best way to slice a peach is to cut around the pit. Place the peach on a cutting board and cut down one side. Repeat for all four sides. You will end up with 4 slices. Dice from there.
Can I use canned or frozen peaches instead of fresh?
For taste and texture, it is best to use fresh firm peaches. However, if fresh peaches are not in season, and all you have available are canned or frozen peaches; you can certainly use those. I would certainly suggest draining canned peaches and thawing out frozen ones. Pat them dry before dicing to get rid of any excess moisture.
Storing Fresh Peach Salsa:
Place your peach salsa in a 16 oz wide mouth mason jar or an airtight container. Keep salsa refrigerated for up to 3-4 days.

- 2 jalapeño peppers (seeded or leave seeds if you want it very spicy)
- 2-3 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
- 1 tsp pink salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (thinly sliced)
