At what age can my baby have this Puree?
This puree is recommended for babies 7 months and older. It’s creamy and lumpy giving it a lot of texture.
What you need to make this Cauliflower and Kale Chicken Soup:
- Chicken Broth
- Cauliflower
- Kale
- Chicken Broth
What makes this Puree healthy and beneficial for baby:
This puree is rich in many nutrients. Specifically iron which is essential for the growth of your baby. Iron is very important for the development of a baby’s brain. After infants reach six months of age they have lost all the iron they received from mom while in utero. Feeding your baby iron fortified foods is essential.
How to freeze baby purees:
- Serve in portions your baby is currently eating.
- Use small airtight containers that are freezer friendly to store your baby food in.
- Freeze for up to 6 months.
- Thaw out in the fridge over night or for 12-24 hours.
- Transfer puree to a small pot and warm up on low heat.
- Feed puree to your baby.

This looks so easy! My baby girl has already decided that bland baby food is a no go at six months old, and I have a two year old at home as well, so I am always looking for simple recipes just like this! I will have to give it a shot and report back. Pinning!
oh yes they grow out of the bland food stage so quickly! My daughter was the same so that’s why I started developing recipes like this. I’m looking forward to hear how your lo’s liked it!
Looks yummy and healthy. I will have to try it with my family but call it something like Incredible Hulk Soup. Otherwise, my boys will run if they suspect veggies. 🙂
