It’s bright orange/yellow color is not gained by accident. All three of these ingredients are obviously of orange/yellow colors. However, there’s more than just a hue here. At what age can my baby have this Puree?
This Butternut Squash, Carrots, Mango Puree is made with very basic stage 1 baby foods. It’s great for baby’s 6 months and older. It has a very smooth texture and sweet taste. You is sure to love this puree. Having baby try each ingredient on it’s own is highly recommended. This will discard any possible allergies.

- Butternut Squash
- Carrots
- Mango
What makes this Puree healthy and beneficial for baby:
As you can see this puree is made with all orange/yellow foods. Brightly orange/yellow colored fruits and vegetables are highly beneficial for babies and adults for that matter. These foods get their vibrant color from beta-carotene, which is a form of vitamin A that acts as an antioxidant. They promote healthy eyesight, regulates immune system and healthy skin.
How to freeze baby Puree:
- Serve in portions your baby is currently eating.
- Use small airtight containers that are freezer friendly to store your baby food in.
- Freeze for up to 6 months.
- Thaw out in the fridge over night or for 12-24 hours.
- Transfer puree to a small pot and warm up on low heat.
- Feed puree to your baby.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butternut squash
- 1 large carrot
- 1 mango
Instructions
Peel and chop squash, carrot, and mango.
Steam squash and carrots for 20-25 minutes.
Add mango to cooked squash and carrots. Puree until desired consistency is reached.
Divide into desired portions. Serve immediately and freeze the rest for up to 3 months.

I never felt like I had enough time to make homemade baby food, but kudos to all the moms that do! This looks like a super easy healthy recipe!
I tried to keep them simple because sometimes I didn’t have much time either. I used to make her food in large batches and freeze them. That used to help a lot.
