Gluten-Free Baked Chocolate Donuts

Ingredients

  • Donuts
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup oat flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tbsp raw cane sugar
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • Frosting
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • toppings of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees.

  2. In a bowl mix almond and oat flour with cacao powder, cane sugar, baking soda and salt.

  3. In a small sauce pan, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil.

  4. In a large bowl beat eggs. Add in chocolate mixture.

  5. Stir in almond milk and keep mixing until everything is well blended. Add vanilla.

  6. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until smooth consistency is reached.

  7. Grease donut pan and scoop in batter.

  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.

  9. While donuts cool, melt the rest of chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small sauce pan.

  10. Carefully remove donuts from pan and dip top in frosting.

  11. Top with favorite toppings!
