Pumpkin Hot Chocolate

There’s nothing that I enjoy more than sitting at home in my cozy pajamas on my comfy couch. Drinking a warm beverage on a chilly fall evening reading a good book or watching a movie. This is one of my favorite parts about living in New England and being able to enjoy all four seasons. I enjoy it even more when the hot beverage is a cup of hot chocolate. I am an absolute chocoholic so there’s no surprise that my go to hot drink in the cold seasons is hot chocolate.

This Pumpkin Hot Chocolate is a great way to enjoy the best of both worlds. Hot chocolate and pumpkin. Bring this fall season to a whole other level with this warm, creamy and comforting Pumpkin Hot Chocolate. It is so chocolaty, made with real pumpkin puree, and all the spices that make up pumpkin spice. Make a cup of this creamy and rich Pumpkin Hot Chocolate to get cozy and warm with this season.

What you need to make this Pumpkin Hot Chocolate:

Ingredients:

  • Unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • Cacao Powder
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • Maple Syrup
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Cloves
  • Collagen Peptides

Equipment:

  • Small Saucepan
  • Blender

How to make Pumpkin Hot Chocolate:

  1. In a small sauce pan warm up coconut milk until it’s as warm or hot as you would like it to be.
  2. Pour warm milk into blender along with all of the other ingredients. Blend for 30-40 seconds.

Tips and Substitutions:

  1. Use homemade or store-bought pumpkin puree- You can use either kind of pumpkin puree for this recipe.

  3. Substitute for cacao powder- Use cocoa powder.

Why add Collagen Peptides to Hot Chocolate?

Collagen peptides are extremely healthy and have a number of benefits. They’re rich in protein, are great for your hair and skin, promotes joint and bone health, just to mention a few. Adding collagen peptides to your Pumpkin Hot Chocolate will transform it from a simple warm and comforting beverage, to one that is loaded with nutrients. Aside from boosting the nutrient value of your hot chocolate (or any other beverage for that matter), collagen peptides will also make it creamier.
